Favorite Faction?

I looked at the EA page for BF2142, and I've decided to make this poll. So, everyone please vote for either the EU or PAC, and post your favorite Kit. I vote for the PAC and the Support kit. Shweet.

EU i like the camo they wear and plus i'm not very supportive of asian countries compared to eurpean and american nations... but i really don't care as long as i like the weapons and i can shoot things...

I think I'm going to enjoy the PAC more, simply because their vehicles are more focused on movement and speed. The Nekomata (PAC Tank) looks very nice.

As far as camo, though, I favor the EU. *shrugs* Who knows. At the moment, I think I'll like playing the PAC more.

Edit: Whoops, didn't see the part about posting your favorite kit. Engineers FTW! I play Engineer mainly for the repair ability, but with the addition of Anti-Tank rockets and a variety of mines, I'll be able to help combat hostile vehicles even if a nearby ally doesn't have one.

Sniper all the way! I'm not particularly fond of lonewolf snipers who just shoot at whomever, but a Squad-based Sniper can be a tremendous help to the team. Plus, with the ability to cloak, getting behind enemy lines as Sniper/Spec Op will prove easier... Which means more opportunities for getting rid of other snipers and long-range threats.

Yup. If I'm not mistaken, all armor/battle walkers/helos are much more teamwork-driven in BF2142. On one 2142 site (can't remember which one...though I'm sure they all have similar info) they reported that tanks no longer have an secondary fire. You'll only be able to fire cannon (or whatever its called :D ) as the driver. You'll need a gunner to fight off infantry effectively.

Seems like vehicles are going to be much more squad-oriented on 2142.

They said themselves that they are heli-jet hybrid things that are not used for massive "bombing" tactics, but have"miniguns" and probably 8 rockets. That means I will have to fly alot more to pick on small vehicles driving on the road. :D

yeah but if what i read is correct players can chose AA as a standard weapon... So no more useing anti-tanks to take out helis. I never understood why EA didnt add that... Its been one of the first things i remeber people requesting.

Oh a side note it does appear there is a version of the flying cow also :D
