I was gone for 3 weeks. I went online 5 days ago and have been on everyday since.

I still play. Some for admin flag waving,
and some for fun and to reach brig gen.

But I have spent more time in the new
games though to wave the flag.

2142 will continue to be part of my gaming experience for a good while to come. I have yet to load Bf2 on my new machine, and can't load NS. With superb
graphics, Bf2, Bf2 pirates, and Project Reality should be a lot more fun than it originally was for me.

Only so many gaming hours. and With the push to promote UT3 and TM2, 2142 game time is taking a severe beating.

I still got in 3 rounds yesterday, and played gunner for Massacre on one round. YaY

i just don't realy enjoy the other games cain's has right now, i dunno what it is just 2142 is so hard to compete with for my attention. Starcraft 2 is what it will take to drag me away from 2142 methinks

Since TF2 beta came out, I haven't played 2142 at all.

IMHO, TF2 is just more fun and easier to jump in.

I still play, I just went back to my roots and returned to playing Assault with my Baur. Although on occasion if someone in a tank is on a roll, I'll hunt them with my Pilum.

I tried playing it on friday, my god I quit after 3 minutes cause I was bored. I saw one of you going after my tags though, and would have gotten them if I didn't realize E is to get into vehicles instead of G.

I'll stick to quake wars, it has more action in it, just a lil less bunny hopping and moving around would be nice, which is most likely coming in the next patch.


To all those that play, it was a great game, but you'll sooner or later get sick of it, I did fast. I'm still into BF2, but playing the games that I have that the company cares about it more worthwhile.

Part of the reason I don't play much anymore is because it just takes so long to get in the freakin server. For tf2, i can go to a different server and start playing, and when theres room I automatically load in. That may sound like a dumb reason, but it's really true, lol.

I said yes because If I could play any PC games, I would be playing 2142 still, and a lot more than usual since the server is going down soon. But I cant. And, if my pc was working, it cant handle any of the new games out, ET:QW at lowest settings and a low player count would be the only thing, and maybe TF2, but UT3 was WAAAY out of my my computer league.
