This one is probably my choice as well. I only spent 10 bucks on it, but it was pretty damn bad. I had to force myself to finish it so I didn't feel that my 10 bucks was a complete waste.

Bioshock

I really wish I would have waited and gotten in on the 360. Why? Because I played it once, went "that was neat, but a crappy ending", and then put it away never to touch it again. No desire. And if I had purchased the 360 version, I could have at least sold it back and recouped some of my cost :|

Nothing else really, I try to buy games I know I'll enjoy at least a couple of times (or that have a good online component).

The Orange Box.

Portal was great. Completely hilarious. Team Fortress 2 is fun, but a lack of maps and the fact that it's the second best shooter out this season has left it collecting dust. I have yet to feel any urge whatsoever to load up Episode 1 or 2.

wow, you should do more research into games before buying if you don't like anyone of them anymore.

I can't say there are many. I guess I'm just not an impulse game buyer. And I guess because my PC is usually behind the rest, I need to wait 1 year before I can buy most of the games people are playing today, so by that time, I know which are good and which aren't.

So you like Portal, are kinda warmish to TF2 so you regret the purchase? You have high standards :D

Well, as great as it was, Portal was only two hours long. COD4 has left me with no real urge to play TF2 at all (I think it's been about a month since I played it, possibly longer)...and I probably got 7-8 hours tops out of TF2 before I shelved it.

Honestly, if it had been released at a better time (say, last summer), it would've gotten a lot more attention from me. As it is, between COD4, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and Rock Band, I just don't have the time or any urge to play it. There's just too much competition right now.

I will hopefully find some time to spend with it in the future when I tire of the other games I'm playing now. Plus, a lack of maps should definitely not be a problem by then...shoot, I haven't been paying attention, but it's probably not a problem now.

Old school game called Return to castle Wolfenstein. Even though I was pretty much the best at till the hackers. It was such a waste b/c it was too repeatative and too many glitches! Other than that, BioShock, Lost Planet! A few others but then the list would take the web page considering I have so many games for every system! Never did like trading in games for credit at stores!

Hmm, I don't have any regrets for myself but of the things I bought for my daughter lately:

Ninjabread man for the Wii. --- Awful piece of trash. Unplayable, bad gameplay, bad graphics. Do not want.

Need for Speed Carbon for the Wii. I wonder if any of the people who ported it to the Wii actually tried to PLAY with with a Wiimote. Controls? You have got to be kidding me.

Need for Speed has potential though, as soon as the Mario Kart steering wheel is released. If it works on that thing, that is.

I saw Ninjabread Man in the store and just had to laugh, looks like a funny concept and it had amusing box art, but I would never buy it. Though for a child maybe it would be amusing.

Still hoping for a patch that removes the retarded enemy AI and tanks that don't flip updise down. Game is pretty though.

That's not what I mean. I like them, I just don't play them. I love D2, it's just hard to get back into. I loved playing Sim City, but it's hard to get back into. I regret spending the money on them NOW, but they were totally worth it back then. There are just too many games coming out, and the older ones had their fair share of playing time.

For PC - Crysis (looks pretty but runs poorly, plus AI is very lame, so is annoyingly confusing level design, like inside that alien base with no gravity) and HL:EP2 (same stuff all over again + even more lame, unchallenging puzzles and lame, illogical vehicle sequence at the very end of the game which I really, REALLY hated) :P For consoles - Mass Effect (I really, REALLY liked KotOR but this game doesn't feel like it at all... it feels like it wasn't even done by Bioware but by some lame 3rd-party developer like Gearbox) :P

Pool of Radiance. There's a disease I haven't heard from in years. That thing was so jacked it could actually force you to reinstall Windows.

Fable, $50 for 7 hours of alright gameplay.
Shadow of the Colossus
Mass Effect, but only because once I got it, literally, right after I bought it, I learned that I wouldnt be staying at that house anymore and where I was going I wouldnt have a 360, so I basically bought it to play for 2 days.
EDIT-I kind of forgot this was in the PC games section. whoops.
PC game I regret buying, Halo PC, because I had a bad computer and a dial up connection at the time, so it was almost pointless.

Final Fantasy 8 or 10 for PC (can't remember which one--SUCKS)

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory --bought it to play online, but the single player was better than the multiplayer. I even went as far as to run my own server for a short while....the game just did not appeal to me but everyone I played with liked it. Blah.. it sucked.

Medal of Honor Airborne (12-man multi. 'nough said)

Star Wars Battlefront 2 (you want an example of rushed out the door for a quick money grab? here you go.)

Call of Duty 2 (I could never find a server that actually tried to prevent hacking)

The last complete WTF I did after buying a game was Gran Turismo 4.
I bought it for 19 bucks in the used bucket at Gamestop.

Dusted off my PS2 and recalled my love for Gran Turismo 3, and quickly realized it was the same game with a graphics upgrade an an easy to win AI.

What a joke.

If it werent for my Grand Theft Auto collection the Ps2 would be in the can.

8=Squall and Rhinoa, 10=What are their names? I remember Wakka, because he was cool. And Auron. But the main guy and girl were LAME. YUNA was the girls name, and..OMG I ever remember that idiots fathers name, but he was SOOO LAME that I completely blocked him out of my mind.
Why did you not like it? I didnt like 10 all that much, but I am a big fan of 8.
